What is the difference between our courses and our classes? A course is a day, weekend or multiple day event for new or experienced jewellers or silversmiths. They are designed to teach a single or group of skills over a short period of time. Classes are run for the benefit of students who wish to commit to regular learning and skill development. For futher details of the differences please see our classes page.

York School of Jewellery run a range of day, weekend and week specialist courses. These allow students to develop their skills in a particular area. If you cannot see a technique covered or wish to book a bespoke course (either developed to your specific requirements or taken from the list below) please contact us for a quote.

Our 'Traditional and modern techniques' courses are graded in two ways. Technical levels give an indication of the level of ability required for a course. Fitness levels indicate specific physical requirements. Please note that all student areas have full disabled access up to and including wheel chair user with carer.
